Teeth Whitening
Many patients desire to whiten teeth that have been stained or darkened by food, tobacco use, injury or aging. Dr. Swingle offers convenient solutions for those wishing to take the step towards a brighter, more beautiful smile using whitening agents. We offer one hour in-office whitening as well as supervised home whitening. We first take an impression of the patient's mouth and fabricate custom fit trays. At home the patient applies the whitening agent for 30 minutes to an hour, once or twice a day, for approximately two weeks. You will witness the effective whitening of your teeth.

Porcelain Veneers
Porcelain veneers are a fantastic way to repair or enhance the appearance of front teeth. They can be used to whiten teeth, close spaces and create a great smile. Veneers are thin, tooth-colored shells that are custom-fit and bonded to the front of teeth to give you a bright, even, attractive smile. Some common uses for porcelain veneers include:
- reduce or eliminate spaces between the teeth (diastemas)
- repair broken or chipped teeth
- whiten dark, yellow, permanently-stained or discolored teeth
- correct misshapen or crooked teeth

Tooth-Colored Fillings
Unsightly metal fillings can make an otherwise perfect set of teeth look unattractive. Now there are fillings specially designed to match the natural color of the tooth. Directly-bonded, tooth-colored resin fillings can make a tooth look like new, whether they are used for small areas of decay or to replace current fillings.

Crowns & Bridges
A crown is an artificial cover that restores a damaged or decayed tooth to a normal shape, size and color. A crown protects a broken tooth and can be used to correct a cosmetic or a bite problem; it provides a smooth, strong, attractively contoured surface.
Bridges are natural-looking tooth replacements, which help maintain facial structure, reduce stress on the jaw and fill in the gaps caused by missing teeth. Fixed bridges are cemented to the existing teeth and do not come out. Removable bridges can be taken out and cleaned at home.

Dental Implants
The healthiest thing to do when you lose a tooth is have it replaced. Otherwise, you risk problems with biting, chewing and speaking, headaches, muscle pain and an unattractive appearance. Fortunately, there are many comfortable, secure, natural-looking types of dental implants for tooth replacement. Dental implants serve as the base for many tooth-replacement options, including bridges, dentures and individual artificial teeth or crowns. Implants are surgically implanted in the jaw to provide a comfortable, secure fit and a natural look.
